History of the Business

Ketcham's Bikers' Haven had its start in 1984 in Marion, Ohio, under the name "KK Machine and Welding Shop." For nearly 20 years, this small shop contracted with several large manufacturers in Marion county as well as smaller jobs for the individual person who needed repairs or had welding projects.

During all his adult life, however, Keith had an interest in and rode motorcycles. His true interest was always somewhere in line with his passion for bikes.

It seemed Fate had the same goal in mind for Keith as well!

Most of the manufacturers and factories in Marion moved away or closed their doors and KK Machine Shop was seeing dwindling prospects.

Keith retired from a position at the phone company and spent the next ten years working as a manager for a motorcycle business.

With the purchase of the property at 9202 East Harding Hwy, KK Machine and Welding Shop was reborn with a new name and a new focus - one that blended the business knowledge, the machine and welding skills, and the life-long love of motorcycles that Keith had acquired in over 35 years of riding.

The result is Ketcham's Bikers' Haven which opened its doors in Spring 2011.
